How long does the achillies tendon take to attach enough to be outta risk of tearing it from surgery.

A good repair: Will b ready for sports after u follow the surgeon's plan in about 6 months. 6-8 wks 2 heal well and then a long rehab 2 gain motion, then strength of the muscles along with a slow introduction of walking, straight line running, then cutting, ; then jumping. I usually found this takes 6-8 months. Don't push it. Rehab of a re do takes longer ; does not do as well. Take care!
