Possible, but: May be able to dampen the affects with physical therapy regimens that may need to be repeated. Spondylosis is used to describe a specific type of arthritis in your spine and can lead to long term pain but can be managed. The spondylosis itself should not lead to paralysis unless it actually impinges on the spinal cord, which would be extreme. Spondylysis and spondylolisthesis threaten cord more.
