A member asked:

If cold/flu can transmit via "aerosolized", then are there any key ways to prevent? was only out once for a split sec and still got the disease..

Viruses everywhere: You are actually more susceptible to the viruses when you are in close contact to others with the virus. While it is common to contract a virus by aerosol you can also get one by direct contact, such as shaking hands or touching a contaminated surface, and then touching your nose for example. Aside from wearing a mask at all times, hand washing frequently during flu season may help. Vaccine also.
