Open ended questions: Are fine. Possible salmonella symptoms include: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (which may be bloody), musculoskeletal aches ; pains, fever, chills ; headaches. If salmonella enters the blood stream it can cause endocarditis (infection involving heart), osteomyelistis (bone infection) ; infection of brain/ spinal cord (meningitis). Salmonella can sometimes be fatal.
