Not likely : Phenazopryidine is a urinary tract numbing agent. It is mainly helpful for irritated bladders with cystitis. It really has no particular role in promoting stone passage or in relieving the significant pain associated with ureteral stones. Tramadol may help dull the pain somewhat.
