I have cancer and the doctor is going to take my lower right jaw out, will this disfigure me?

Maybe not!: One of the great orthopedic surgeons of the late 20th century, for whom i had the honor of scrubbing in as a medical student, was missing half his jaw from an osteosarcoma 20 years previously. To my embarrassment, someone actually had to point this out to me. ("ed, you're supposed to be more observant.") looked perfectly fine, and one of the most cheerful folks i ever met (and a surgeon too).

Discuss this with: Your surgeon. There are an array of reconstructive techniques. There also are hazards...And yes, changed appearance, only he/she can guide you as to what to expect, alternatives if any, and consequences of doing versus not doing.
