Several options: You can ask your physician to try an supply further documentation in support of the indications for a mri. You can ask your physician to obtain a second opinion to support this request. If you have an attorney, you can ask the attorney to get involved. You can write to your local state elected representative to intervene. If still denied, your insurance if you have coverage, then has to cover.

Use Ur Own Insurance: Often times when work related injuries are not being handled well with work comp insurance, i would recommend continuing your care through your own personal health insurance until you can get a resolve on your work comp case. Last thing you want is your health to deteriorate further waiting for something to happen.
