Can echo pick up abd aortic aneurysm?

Yes.: Abdominal us is the test of choice. If this was a cardiac echo they would not see an abdominal aneurysm, but i see that you have had a ct scan in the past. That may show an aneurysm.

No : An echo will typically not look for abdominal aortic aneurysm. Some sonographers do but not standard practice.
