Likely okay: It is common to have abdominal pain during your period. Especially if this is a recurring cycle of menstruation and pain, it is probably nothing to worry about. However, if it is new, or gets more severe, or has other symptoms with it, best to get checked out. Also pain with a period can be related to pregnancy, including ec topics, so consider a pregnancy test.

Observe for now: I would not jump to conclusions based on only 3 days of discomfort. Things to watch for are persistence without improvement of the pain for more than a week, increasing or spreading pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
