TRICH=CURABLE, but..: Trich is curable!.... In women, trichomoniasis ('trich') has been associated w/herpes simplex-2 infection & it has been associated with a 2x increased risk of cervical dysplasia. Women infected w/ 'trich' have also been shown to have a significantly higher rate of pid (pelvic inflam. Disease). So early detection is crucial. Trichomoniasis is a risk factor for HIV and contributes to infertility.
