They shouldn't: Every doctor is different, but a good doctor should listen to your request and consider it. If the test is reasonable and medically indicated, it should be ordered. If it's not, the doctor should explain the reasons. There's no reason for a doctor to be offended by such a request unless it's presented as a demand.

You may be unaware of all the consideration your physician spent reviewing your database beforehand ; charting afterward. If you desire more feedback from your doctor be proactive, come prepared with notes/questions/ goals ; don't be shy. Ask away!
