Purkinje fibers: Purkinje fibers are specialized heart tissue cells located in the ventricular walls just beneath the heart's lining (endocardium). They conduct the electrical stimulus from the bundle of his to the ventricles via the bundle branches. Pretty heady stuff! unless you're a cardiologist, you wouldn't normally run into them!
