Symptoms vs preventi: Basics:1- treat the symptoms as they come, often most bothersome is vertigo..Which can be severe causing falls, nausea/vomitting etc..Meds such as antivert, (meclizine) ativan/valium/droperidol/compazine, and /steroid.. 2-preventive treatment to minimize recurrence of attacks using meds such as diamox/neptazane etc.. 3-meniett device..May help. 4-surgery is the last option.. Consult doc... Good luck.

Medication, and more: There is no cure for meniere's disease, but symptoms can be managed with motion sickness medication such as diazepam (valium) or Meclizine (antivert). Antibiotics or steroids can be injected into the middle ear. Hearing aids can help with hearing loss and rehabilitation can help with balance issues. Surgery can be done in patients with severe symptoms.

Must try several: Anti-vertigo meds (meclizine), anti-nausea meds (compazine, phenergan, (promethazine) meds that affect the blood volume and electrolyte balance within the endolymphatic channels in the inner year (diuretic such as Dyazide or maxziee), anti-anxiety med (valium). Lifestyle changes such as eat five small meals daily, get adequate sleep, stress reduction activity/exercise. Surgical procedure. An expensive device.
