A member asked:

How are emaciation and pancreatic disease linked?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several reasons: 1. Diabetes out of control- you break down fat/ muscle when sugars high 2. If lack pancreatic enzymes which help absorb nutrients, lose nutrients in stool, don't absorb them so essentially patient is 'starving'.
