Nurse: In some areas the nurses are often referred to as neonatal nurses, mother baby nurses or some similar designation out of convenience. In my hospitals, the designation as a nurse is the primary one used and few would accept or desire a separate label.They pride their ability to rise to the occasion and fill in for nurses in other areas if the need arises.
