A member asked:

In my left kidney they had found some weird, extra veins in it, what can cause this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Congenital/Acquired: Either this was congenital--born that way. Or if acquired later in life, a blockage, obstruction, trauma, etc. In one vein can cause others to enlarge and take over the load. Pregnancy can do this in a female.
