A member asked:

Total loss of appetite or inability to eat more than (just guessing) 2/3 cup of food, what's wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Loss of appetite: This could be a symptom of depression, and/or it could point to a medical condition. Talk with your family doctor first to make sure there's no underlying medical condition, and then get a psychiatric consultation to determine if medication is needed to treat your this problem.
