Alcohol is a: Physiologically addictive substance. How quickly some1 becomes dependent on it varies from person 2 person. The younger you are when you experiment with alcohol and the smaller you are physically, the easier it is to become addicted i.e., dependent on it. Some people are more likely 2 become addicted if alcoholism runs in their family. There are both physiological and psychological reasons 4 this.
