A member asked:

What is parenchymatous liver disease? how common is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most of them: The hepatitis family, autoimmune hepatitis, hemochromatosis, wilson's, antitrypsin deficiency, and most drug allergy all hit the liver parenchyma. Gallstones, tumors, and a few others are non-parenchymatous. Hope this helps.
