Blood: Retinal hemorrhages can occur in any of its layers: causes: diabetes, hypertension, macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusion are most common. Vision loss is a not a typical complain at first-depends on the cause. There is no treatment recommended. Referral to the patient`s primary care doctor is recommended to rule out systemic disease. Retinal specialist or a good eye md to treat.
