Neither: Neither bacteria nor virus. The experts don't know. They think, without proof, it may be combination of virus and gene. What is known-it is a medium blood vessel disease vasculitis in children. Not contagious. Diagnosed by symptoms of fever, red eyes, red tongue, swollen hand; feet, neck lymph node. Main concern should be the coronary artery inflammation. Rx is high dose Aspirin and immunoglobulin.
