No: It is just that, a bruise. Your toenails will probably peel off in time. You need to watch for infection. If problem see a podiatrist.

Bruise: Unless there is significant bleeding into the nail bed area causing pain there is no need to worry. If there are further problems see your podiatrist.

Hi there I play soccer/football and I always get bruises on my foot and shin because of people stepping and kicking me. Is there anyway I could minimise this or recover faster. I use ice, heat, compression, arnica cream but nothing seems to works ?
