A member asked:

Could you explain what is auditory processing disorder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Auditory processing : An auditory processing disorder is diagnosed when an individual hears a sound but the brain does not process the information correctly. In other words the person hears the sound but does not appropriately process the sound to act on it appropriately. They have difficulty developing as quickly as their peers and italy take longer for them to grasp concepts that others learn quickly. I hope it helpe.
