Diverticula: An esophageal diverticulum is a small Outpouching of the lining of the esophagus. Most of the time it is of little consequence. Unless they tell you yours is clinically significant, I would not worry about it. Good luck.

Esophag. diverticula: Are pouches formed of the inner esophageal lining, due to weakness in the muscular wall that based on location and size may go from causing little to no problem to significant functional issues related to swallowing.
