Stress or angiogram: Thallium test is another term for a nuclear stress test, which is a NONINVASIVE test to evaluate for any areas of heart muscle which look to be having reduced blood flow. Angiography (Coronary angiogram, left heart catheterization, LHC, "cath") is an INVASIVE method to directly evaluate coronary arteries for blockages/narrowing. If narrowing is found, then angioplasty/stent placement may be needed
