Can you tell me things to keep in mind about obesity in children?

Its unhealthy: Leads to diabetes, high blood pressure, low self esteem, poor mobility, and is being included as a possible reason this generation of children is the first to be predicted to not outlive their parents....Pretty sobering information.

BMI: Obesity in children is related to many preventable health issues, including heart, lung and joint disease. They are also at higher risk for metabolic diseases such as diabetes, and mental health issues such as poor self esteem and depression. There are loads of resources for obese children. Visit your pediatrician for a baseline evaluation and recommendations.
