Dural calcifications: The dura is the membrane that lines the outside of the brain. Sometimes dural calcification can be an incidental finding and of no concern, especially in the elderly. It can also be associated with abnormal conditions like recurrent sub dural bleeds, hyperparathyroidism, and congenital infections. Talk to your doctor about the significance of this in your particular case.
