Consult Gynecologist: At 55 you are having vaginal bleeding after being on menopause for two years i will recommend you consult your gynecologist to find what is causing the bleeding.

Periods post meno...: Having a period two years after all periods have stopped could be a cause for concern. Make an appointment with your gynecologist (family docs who do paps only might not have specialized equipment needed to check it out). Most likely they will order an ultrasound to check the lining of your uterus for anything abnormal. If it is suspicious, they will do a small endometrial biopsy to verify.
