Yes MRI Helpful: If you have a history of cancer or currently going through a battle with cancer and have ongoing back pain, an MRI would be very helpful to see if it is related to this disease. Sometimes getting a triple phase bone scan can also be helpful to evaluate for metastatic disease as well.
