Could a ct miss lung cancer? my up back started hurting 5/12. pain seems to be get worse. not present at rest. ct 11/12 clear. mri spine clear.

Not really: Ct can image nodules and masses in the lung pretty well. If they are a certain size they should be followed over time or biopsied now. Lung nodules usually do not cause pain unless there is invasion of chest wall, nerves, effusions, etc. Representing lung cancer.
