Lochia - normal.: Some blood clots can still pass after vaginal delivery (especially within the first week); they are called lochia and represent the byproduct of the normal process of uterine involution and endometrial/decidual sloughing. Do not freak out! consult your obstetrician if this amounts to significant blood loss and/or you develop symptoms such as dizziness, fainting, wekaness affecting your daily life.
