Dental surgery: Hydrocodone is an addictive narcotic. It does not cause birth defects..Taking the drug for a short interval should not be a problem. However, check with your doctor. He may be of a different opinion.

Check with your OB: There is a varying degree of opinions among ob-gyn docs regarding medications their patients are allowed to take following any type of surgery, including dental. You should direct the question to your ob-gyn for an answer regarding the hydrocodone, as well as any other other precautions your dentist should observe in your treatment.
