Yes: Ovulation roughly starts on day 12-14 of the menstrual cycle and ova remains viable for 48-72 hrs. Meaning if your cycle is 28 days then what you mentioned is right. Normally females menstrual cycle varies between 28 days to 35 days--- in which case it is a little early to ovulate. Also remember --- usually the variation in cycle days is due to the variation in first half of cycle ( ie pre- ovulat.
