OCD issue: Unfortunately there are no quick fixes here. I know it's a struggle and tough for you. Do the best you can to stop and if you are not already seeing someone for help with the ocd, ask you primary care physician to recommend someone who specializes in treating patients with ocd. Have your dentist examine your teeth for possible solutions as well. Good luck!

Night guard: If you are also clenching and grinding your teeth, see the dentist for night guard fabrication. It will protect your tongue and your teeth at the same time.
