Er recommended: The combination of severe abdominal pain and vomiting should be evaluated in the hospital emergency room. Black stool, unless due to taking peptobismol type medications, usually means intestinal bleeding in the upper intestinal or gastric area. Lower left abdominal pain may reflect diverticulitis which shouldn't cause black stools. Go to the er for evaluation and treatment.
