I can't seem to get rid of this cough and it's christmas, what is this and what should i do ?

Many possibilities: Please see doctor to sort out causes. It could be a remnant from recent upper respiratory infection, post nasal drip from sinuses (allergy or infection), acid reflux, or lung issue such as asthma or even pneumonia to name a few.
