Ask your OB MD: It may be indigestion or maybe not. Your OB md needs to know this symptom as you are in the middle of your current pregnancy managed by him/her.

GI Checkup: Pain in the left upper back area along with heartburn may reflect esophageal problems or a hiatus hernia. If no relief with low fat and .No fried foods or no spices food diet, a consultation with a gastroenterologist would be recommended.
