Right now!: You're more likely to have recurrent yeast infections if you're pregnant so my advice would be to put that NuvaRing back in! contraception is super important. A yeast infection won't affect the nuvaring's effectiveness nor will a NuvaRing cause yeast infections. If you took out your ring for more than 2 days, make sure you use condoms for a week before relying on the NuvaRing for birth control.
