Can be normal.: Spotting during pregnancy can be normal and spotting can present as discharge when wiping. Consider that some spotting pools in the vagina and then comes out when wiping. But context is everything. Discharge after contractions or trauma to the abdomen is different from discharge after intercourse or a vaginal exam. Be safe and see a doctor if you have cramping/bleeding more than a pad.
