Does abilify (aripiprazole) eliminate as prozac eliminates because prozac increases abilify (aripiprazole) in the system? i trying to eliminate abilify (aripiprazole) because it makes me restless

If I understand you: Correctly, you're basically wondering how long it's going to take for Abilify (aripiprazole) to get out of your system. Abilify (aripiprazole) has a half-life between 75 and 90 hours. It is going to be metabolized more slowly than that because Abilify (aripiprazole) and Prozac both go through the same enzyme system in the liver for metabolism. While i cannot tell you how long it's going to take Abilify (aripiprazole) to leave your system, i can tell you that you should not be changing the dose without consulting with your psychiatrist.Without prozac, it takes Abilify (aripiprazole) 75 to 90 hours to have it's blood level drop in half. With Prozac it's going to take longer than that.Assume that the Abilify (aripiprazole) half-life increases to approximately five days with Prozac in the mix, then it will take 25 days for it to completely leave your system. I would recommend that you contact your psychiatrist to see if you cantreat the restlessness which is known as an akathisia.

I am confused by: Your question. Abilify (aripiprazole) can cause akathesia (sort of like feeling you need to move around). Benadryl and congentin can both combat akathesia.
