No pros: Boxing is dangerous sport that provides no significant health benefits and is to be completely avoided. Injuries that participants can incurr to brain can be devastating and permanent. Be smart and choose an aerobic sport, and avoid contact and extreme sports. Why spend your adult life in pain and misery. There are numerous and less injurious ways to obtain glory; especially with a sharp mind.

Boxing: That's a loaded question, since the goal is to give someone a concussion. Using a punching bag is great exercise. When you box another person, for fun, on the amateur level; there are risks. There's lots of protection. A point system is used, not knock downs or knock outs. However, there is still a chance for knock out. Studies on post concussion syndrome are showing permanent damage is possible
