A member asked:

I went to the doctor and apparently i have another uti which is recurrent and a vaginal yeast infection. why do i keep getting uti?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sex difference.: Women have shorter urethra and less antibodies encountered by the bacteria as they enter so women have more recurrent infections. If it is too often, still your doctor has to find out why. Voice your concern. Yeast infection can occur after antibiotics as we also kill all the good bacteria and allow the yeast to overgrow there.
