Cerebral palsy: Not an easy question to answer as there has been much "junk" science entered into this diagnosis. Historically it was thought to be due to lack of oxygenation during the pregnancy and at time of delivery but recent studies have shown this to be much to simple so research is presently going on to answer this question in a more refined and realistic fashion.
