Cerebral palsy is a : group of disorders of impaired motor functions described by the way they limit mobility, posture, arm/ hand use & oral motor skills. In kids with CP, growth is slower than that of neurotypical peers, the difference is greater with age. Puberty may be delayed & last longer. Poor oral motor function, endocrine problems & gastroesophageal reflux all can impact nutrition, growth & body composition.
