Nasal dryness: The most common cause of recurrent nose bleeds are nasal membrane dryness and nasal trauma. Add a humidifier to your bedroom and apply vaseline in your nose regularly as well as drinking more fluids. If symptoms persist, an exam to eliminate a deviated septum or other causes may be necessary by an ENT specialist. People prone to nose bleeds may be on medications that dry their system.
