Diagnosis confirmed?: Do you really have stroke issues or is this really secondary to classical migraine auras? If so, risk of stroke increases with smoking, and in women, use of birth control pills. You might want to have your homocysteine level checked and inquire about congenital heart disease and anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome, but if this is migraine, risk is very low.

You had a stroke?: Stroke is a specific diagnosis referring to the infarction of a specific brain area or hemorrhage in or around the brain, usually this can be diagnosed on imaging e.g. Computed tomography (ct) or mri. Stroke come with (dependent of the location in the brain) specific symptoms but there are other problems that can cause similar symptoms but the reason would not be a stroke. Consult your doctor!
