I've got upper back/neck pains from lifting weights. how can i treat this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NSAIDS like Ibuprof-: En or aleve (naproxen) (if no allergies/side effects with their use) might help, with some muscle relaxers + massages, heat alternating with ice packs, and continuing the exercises and weight lifting a couple of notches below your normal weights would be beneficial. See your pcp for the meds. Good luck and happy holidays.
