Yes if: There absolutely can be a link, if the pelvic infection involves the uterus/tubes (pelvic inflammatory disease, or pid). An early sexually transmitted infection (sti) can be misdiagnosed as bacterial vaginosis. Have an evaluation including a culture (taken from the cervix). Call your ob-gyn and ask if it's possible an STI or pid could be brewing. You need immediate antibiotics if so.
