Gum recession: It may be repairable. A consultation with a periodontist ( gum specialist) is your next step to evaluate the damage and to determine what treatment is possible.

Hopefully: Depending on the type and amount of damage, it may be possible to correct the damage that has been done. Surgery is usually an option if the damage does not resolve by itself. Please contact your dentist.
