Are you allergic?: First of all, are you truly allergic? If you can tolerate cheese and yogurt, but not milk and ice cream, odds are that you have lactase deficiency, where your intestine lost the enzyme that breaks milk sugar (lactose). Drinking lactaid milk helps. If you can't tolerate any milk products, you may have true allergy. No agreed-upon treatment except avoidance. Then see a board-certified allergist-immu.
